Our process at CRAFT by Anika is an intensive one because while we want to give you a home that is attractive and on trend, we also believe that the final design needs to reflect your tastes and lifestyle, making it essential that we understand our clients’ preferences from the beginning.

It all starts here. We discuss your needs and make plans for an in depth consultation of the interior or exterior design you are looking to achieve.

Consultation

Here is where the fun begins! We will begin with sending you an interior design questionnaire where you can explore your preferences and let us know in detail about the goals you have for your updated home. We sit down together in person or virtually and review your thoughts and ideas. From here, we can bring in our professional knowledge to make recommendations. You decide whether the information provided is enough for you to move forward on your own OR if you’d like to upgrade to one of our other services. 

*consultations may take up to 2 hours depending on the type of service needed.*

Preparation

Our team will also do all of the work necessary to turn your design plan into a finished room or space. This includes choosing paint colors, selecting textiles, installing light fixtures, arranging furniture, purchasing artwork, and working with any contractors you may have managing renovation or construction. We can even provide you with referrals if you need one!

Implementation

The work begins! Through our experience and industry contacts, we have specific insight on where to find the right pieces for your home, and where we can find great prices to make sure that your design stays within budget.

Interior Decorating Packages

You’ve got options! We offer interior decorating services in person for our clients in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan and parts of New Jersey. We also have the option of virtual interior decorating services also known as E-Design for clients throughout the United States! Our in-person services include on-site consultations, where we assess your space, discuss your design goals and preferences, and provide expert advice on color schemes, furniture placement, decor options and more. For those who prefer virtual consultations or who are too far away for us to provide you with an in-person consult, we offer online design services that allow you to collaborate with us remotely. With our virtual interior design and decorating services, you’ll receive a detailed design plan and shopping lists for furniture and decor items.

No matter which service you choose, we’re committed to creating beautiful, comfortable, and functional spaces that you’ll be proud to call your own.

Packages are based on a 2 room, 600 sq. ft maximum. Additional rooms or square footage would be considered an upgrade and package will be customized to project needs.

Consultation & Mood Board - In-person

Consultation includes a thorough analysis of your space and an in-depth discussion of your personal style and preferences. Prior to your consultation you will be added to our Client Portal and receive an Interior Design Questionnaire. Our team of experts will work with you to create a customized plan that meets your needs and budget. We’ll provide you with recommendations on everything from color schemes and furniture to lighting and accessories right on site. After the meeting, we provide you with the INNOVATE mood board so you have a design concept. Whether you’re looking to refresh a single room or transform your entire home, we’re here to help bring your vision to life.

E-Design/Virtual Interior Decorating Services - Consultation & Mood Board

Consultation includes a thorough analysis of your space and an in-depth discussion of your personal style and preferences. We will request measurements of the areas beforehand and walk through the home with you virtually. Prior to your consultation you will be added to our Client Portal and receive an Interior Design Questionnaire. Our team of experts will work with you to create a customized plan that meets your needs and budget. We’ll provide you with recommendations on everything from color schemes and furniture to lighting and accessories. After the meeting, we provide you with the INNOVATE digital mood board so you have a design concept.

Consultation, Mood Board & Design Development Board - In Person

Our Consultation, Mood Board & Design Development Board provides you with a comprehensive overview of the design process for your project. We understand the importance of collaboration and communication to ensure that your vision is brought to life. Our consultation phase allows us to gather all necessary information from you and understand your needs and preferences.
From there, we create a mood board that captures the overall aesthetic and vibe you’re looking for. This serves as a visual representation of the direction we will take with the design. Once the mood board is approved, we move on to the design development board, which showcases specific design elements such as color schemes, patterns, and materials.

We welcome your feedback every step of the way and make sure that you are involved in every decision-making process. Our goal is to create a design that not only meets your expectations but exceeds them. Let’s work together to bring your vision to life!

This process involves sharing photos, measurements, and design preferences with your decorator, who will then create a custom design plan tailored to your space and style. Our e-design services include:

Our team will manage everything from sourcing materials and furnishings to arranging deliveries and installations.
