Located in Staten Island, NY, this clever transformation turned a small coat closet into a fully functioning, thoughtfully designed powder room. The space was modestly expanded just enough to become a true room, without disrupting the flow of the entryway. With the home’s only original bathroom located upstairs, our client needed a practical solution that could also support guests and everyday living.
Every inch of this compact footprint was carefully considered. From the slim-profile vanity and mirror to the toilet and wall-mounted fixtures, each selection was made to optimize space without sacrificing style.
We extended the luxury tile from the entryway into the powder room to create a seamless visual transition, adding quiet luxury and an uninterrupted flow. The walls were painted in a soft and grounding color that brings calm and clarity to the space.
Vertical paneling adds texture and architectural interest, while a floating shelf provides just the right balance of function and decor. Polished chrome fixtures complete the look with a clean, refined finish. The subtle crown moulding detail brings a sense of quiet formality, making this small space feel complete and intentional.
