Nestled in the heart of Staten Island, this over 100-year-old center hall colonial embodies timeless beauty and architectural significance. With its classic symmetry and enduring charm, this home tells a story of the past while embracing the needs of modern living.
CRAFT by Anika was brought on to completely reimagine the kitchen, primary bathroom, and powder room, refining each space with thoughtful design and high-end details. The result is a seamless integration of modern design and old-world allure, enhancing the home’s authenticity while creating functional, elevated spaces for today’s lifestyle.
In the kitchen, we optimized storage, refined the cabinetry layout for better flow, and selected oyster-colored cabinets to bring warmth and cohesion to the space. The previous layout lacked structure, but with strategic planning, we created a design that is both visually balanced and highly functional.
The primary bathroom was completely reconfigured to include a double vanity, enhanced lighting, and smart storage solutions without compromising on style. We relocated the standing shower and toilet to maximize the layout, ensuring a more spacious and seamless flow. Every design choice—from the floating vanity to the Quartzite accents—was made to create a spa-like retreat with lasting beauty and durability.
The powder room is a statement space in itself, featuring textured wallpaper, a vanity with elegantly upgraded hardware, Roman shades, floating shelving that elevates the overall aesthetic.
From concept to completion, this renovation was all about balancing beauty with practicality—creating spaces that feel intentional, refined, and effortlessly sophisticated.
